What are Co-op classes?

Co-op classes are a cooperative effort by families within our group for the educational and social benefit of our students. It is a place where adults can pass on their knowledge and talents to eager students. 

When are Co-op classes held?

We are offering two semesters for the 2026-2027 school year.  We meet once a week for 8 weeks on Tuesday mornings. 

Where are Co-op classes held?

Co-op classes are held at a Baptist church in Benton, AR that graciously opens their doors for us to use their facility weekly. Please contact us for more specifics.

How much do classes cost?

Co-op classes has an administrative supply fee and a facility use fee what vary by semester, but these fees generally do not exceed $20 total.

There are also individual class supply fees. These can vary greatly based on which classes are being offered and what your child chooses. We try to keep costs as low as possible. 

EFA funds through the Arkansas Department of Education:  We are not service providers through ADE, so we cannot provide invoices for EFA funds, however; you may submit your classes for reimbursement if you wish. 

How do I sign up? 

Co-op classes are an exclusive benefit of BHC members. Once you have joined BHC, we will provide specific details about our class registration process. General regestration for Fall 2026 will be held on August 20th.
